Faith is the foundation of our relationship with Jesus Christ. It is by faith and believing in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ that we receive salvation (Romans 10:9-10).
Faith pleases God. Without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). God expects us to daily exercise and grow our faith. We exercise and grow our faith by believing and acting upon what He has said in the Holy Scriptures.
God has given to every man “the measure” of faith (Romans 12:3). Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Daily spend time reading and meditating on the Word of God.
Faith is NOW. Now is present tense (Hebrews 11:1). Study the Scriptures. Learn what God is saying in His Word. Grow your faith. Let the Word of God get down in to your heart. Whatever you need, find out what the bible has to say about it and declare God’s Word over yourself. Speak God’s Word with your mouth and agree with what the Word of God says about your situation. According to your faith, let it be done unto you.
