Pastor Kalvin Thompson is a native of Nassau County, Florida. He graduated in the top of his class at Hilliard High School and was awarded the honor of salutatorian. He enjoyed playing his trumpet in the band, running track and playing basketball for the Hilliard Red Flashes. Pastor Thompson went on to continue his education in Gainesville at the University of Florida on a 4-year academic scholarship. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Science (CIS) through the prestigious College of Business. From there he went on to work in information technology (IT) at the University of Florida, American Airlines, and other corporations utilizing his technology skills. During his travels, he and his wife graduated from RHEMA Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma and worked with several large churches and ministries in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Arlington and Fort Worth, Texas. In 2003 Pastor Thompson and his family returned to Florida, to start a church and to teach people how to impact their world with Christ. His family is a family committed to teaching and helping others come to know Jesus and open their hearts to the Lord as both their Savior and Friend. Pastor Thompson truly has a heart for people and desire to show you how to live for God and live above the circumstances of life. His mission is to encourage believers, win the lost, and teach us all how to become and remain a positive impact in our communities. In this world where there can be many ups and downs but one thing remains certain and that is that Jesus Christ is unchanging.
